I started out as a freelance marketer and copywriter. Brand guides, landing pages, lead magnets, campaigns, etc. Mostly for sustainability and ESG companies, back in 2021. Then one day I opened ChatGPT for the first time, typed a prompt, and watched it do a version of my job in about four seconds. I'm not going to lie to you: that was a weird afternoon.
I could've dug in, fought it, and resisted the AI movement. Instead I got curious. And the deeper I went, the more familiar it felt. Reverse-engineering, workflows, big-picture vision, and efficiency applications. All skills I had already developed. The difference? Better tools. Same thinking.
So while everyone was bracing for AI to end the world, I started learning to drive it. And I found the gap: businesses need someone who gets how their operations actually run, then builds the systems that help their growth compound.
